Children of Men

Just watched Children of Men a 2006 release by director Alfonso Cauron
and could not stop myself from commenting...
This is a story of the world in year 2027 when due to numerous reasons, human race has become infertile since 18 years....
And a miracle happened !!! Kee- a black woman gives birth to a baby boy. It is now responsibility of Theo (lead actor played by Clive Owen ) to take her to a community called the 'Human Project'
I had never imagined that the cry of an infant can be so beautiful and can be so powerful to stop the wars and the worries.
Could feel the emotions of people looking at a baby after a gap of almost two decades..
Please have a look at this scene, no need for me to write any more.
Thanks to the guy who posted it on youtube. And please watch the movie if you haven't yet.

Ameya Gambhir Welcomes You !

A hearty welcome to everybody to my blog space. To start with, I have just posted a snap at the entrance of Palmerston North City Library which "welcomes" you in most of the languages. I was quite surprised and pleased when I saw Hindi "Namaste" Sanskrit and Marathi "Namaskar" on the board.

Happy Blogging !
and your comments, mostly the critics are most welcome !

Marathi is my mother tongue..
so here are some lines for my marathi freinds:

Kissa Kitchen Ka

Our Kitchen in New Zealand !

The warmest place without any heaters in our 19 Ranfurly !
A place of live discussions and of course cooking..
After coming back from office all of us step to kitchen, though everybody has different intensions.
I go to kitchen to feel warm, because after coming back to home, we realise that the home is actually chiller than outside!
Tapan opens refridgerator for the juice bottle-full of vitamins. His vitamin counter has been continuously alarming him, that A to Z vitamins are exausted and he has to immediately do something,
Chaitanya just keeps an eye on who is doing what?

Shishir, first searched for the remaining tea- made in the morning. He is so addicted to tea that nothing can happen in his life before drinking a tea- that includes even the morning masculine- pregancy pains!

Rama starts thinking about tomarrow's plans. He is no more interested in what is going to be cooked for today. Like a monk- He is solely devoted to tomarrow's lunch!
